What can I say? I finally joined Deviantart. I genuinely thought you had to pay, but having bothered to check it out I now see that there's afree version; woohoo!

I'm figuring that joining this site will motivate me more to create artwork, because, ever since secondary school where I had to do works on a certain subject in a short amount of time, I've really lost my love for art. It's sad, really, because when I think about how creative I was before secondary school and now, the difference is marked. I was so much more creative when I was about 11 or twelve years old. Even when I was 15 I was more productive than I am now.

For the moment I think I'll have to dig out some old pieces just to have some semblance of a gallery. Most of the artwork that I've done of my own free will is more than 2 years old, and I know that I've improved, but I have yet to produce noteworthy works that prove it. In time, I hope to add new pictures.

I'm thrilled to be on deviantART, and am looking forward to getting to know the site and to being inspired by other people's work.
